The Mindset Of A Rich Man vs. A Poor Man

There is a major difference in the philosophy’s of the rich and the poor. There is a reason why the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Many poor people think that the rich were either born into a wealthy family, got lucky, or just cheated their way to the top. Well this simply isn’t true. The majority of the rich have developed a different mindset than the average Joe. Becoming rich is 80% psychology and 20% physical work.

A rich man will speak highly of himself and others. He will watch the words uses and he will invest his/her money wisely. The rich know how to properly use a balance sheet and an income statement. They make sure that their assets are funneling in money to their income statement. The poor buy liabilities that they think are assets and eventually find out that they aren’t the hard way. You see there are fundamental steps you can take to be smarter with your money but that’s not why I’m writing this. As I stated earlier, becoming rich is 80% psychology and 20% physical work.

So you’re looking to become rich and don’t know where to start. Well, the first question you should ask yourself is what do you want? The second question is as follows: why do you want it? When you create a burning desire for something and you put all your efforts and energy into achieving it the Universe will conspire with you to help manifest this desire into your physical reality. You must have faith that you can literally accomplish ANYTHING you set your mind to. You must realize that if you want to earn $1,000,000 it is absolutely 100% possible as others have done it before you. No matter what your circumstances are, no matter the color of your skin, no matter where you came from, you have the ability within you to create the life you’ve always dreamed of.

You must have a rock solid belief in yourself no matter what anyone else tells you. If people aren’t laughing at your dreams, they aren’t big enough. The rich set out plans and execute them. The poor have no plans so essentially they are planning to fail. You must have definite goal in your mind and you must be willing to put in the work it is going to take to achieve that goal. The poor set goals as follows: my goal is to pay the bills this month, my goal is get out of this debt, my goal is to make enough money this week so i can buy those concert tickets. Their goals are flawed. The poor focus on what they don’t have so it puts them in a state of lack which in turn generates resistance to the abundance the Universe has waiting or you.

The rich operate from a different level of standards they have set for themselves. The have self-discipline which is one of the main key components of becoming rich. They invest in themselves by buying books, attending seminars, doing research, listening to audio tapes, studying other successful people, waking up early to get ahead of everyone else, and most importantly they believe they can do it. A man who tells himself he can do it is right. A man who tells himself he can’t do it is right. If you want to become rich you must be willing to put in an absurd amount of work into your craft. You must love what you do. You must wake up every morning with a strong sense of gratitude and be appreciative of the opportunity the Universe has given you. You must want to make a difference in the lives of others. If you work for money you will never truly be rich, you may acquire the money you were looking for but you will miss out on what the journey to riches has to teach you. If you work to become a better you so that you may better the lives of others, the money will come fast. Rich is just a state of mind. Live in that state, live in a rich mindset.
